of Directors
elected at
the Annual
Shareholders
Meeting.
The
new Board
consists of
the following
members:
- Ashraf
Zaghloul
(Chairman)
Founded
NTG International
in 1992.
He has been
involved
with IT
and communications
since 1981.
He has held
senior management
positions,
and consulted
to, many
major private
and public
sector corporations
in the areas
of data
and voice
networks.
- Ronald
Preston
Has served
as an Executive
Senior Vice
President
with AT&T
Canada and
was a Vice
president
at AT&T
Canada from
June 1999
until February
2000. From
May 1997
until June
1999 he
served as
a Vice President
with MetroNet
Communications.
Ron Preston
also brings
several
years of
experience
as a vice
president
at Bell
Canada.
- Adel
Zaghloul
Chairman
and CEO
NTG Egypt
has 35 years
of experience
in several
fields,
his last
positions
before joining
NTG were
the Regional
Director
for the
General
Electric
Company
of the US,
ME &
Africa and
then CEO
of the Olympic
Electric
Group.
- Dr.
Zafar Farooqui
Has over
30 years
of experience
as a senior
engineering
analyst
for major
North American
organizations.
He has been
involved
in modeling,
safety and
the development
of new concepts.
- Kristine
Lewis
Has extensive
experience
in management
and operations
in the IT
and telecom
industry.
She has
been involved
in the management
of NTG since
its foundation
in 1992.
- The
Honourable
Sinclair
Stevens
A partner
in the law
firm of
Stevens
& Stevens
based in
Newmarket,
Ontario.
Chairman
of the Commonwealth
Advantage,
a non-profit
organization.
Former Minister
of Regional
and Industrial
Expansion
and Chairman
of the Cabinet
Committee
on Economic
and Regional
Development,
1984 to
1986. Member
of Parliament
elected
in the riding
of York
Peel in
1979, 1980,
and 1984.
- Mohsen
Rifaat
President
of Modev
International
Inc., a
Canadian
based consulting
firm that
assists
organizations
developing
and expanding
their business
internationally.
- James
Chapman
Has over
25 years
experience
in the high-tech
sector initially
launching
his career
in sales
and management
with IBM
Canada.
In 1994,
was a BMO
nominee

Entrepreneur
of the Year4
while serving
as founding

he led through
a successful
