that it has
signed an
agreement
with Preston
University
to launch
a certification
program in
telecommunications,
designed to
support Pakistan’s
growing telecom
industry with
skilled and
qualified
technical
personnel.
NTG brings
to the partnership
an extensive
track record
and experience
in providing
technical
training to
some of North
America’s
leading telecommunications
service providers.
NTG will provide
a curriculum
of specialized
telecommunications
courses complete
with courseware
and instructors
and will work
with Preston
University
to roll the
program out
at Preston’s
campuses across
Pakistan.

Preston University
plans to launch
the telecom
certification
program in
the fall of
2004 at campuses
across Pakistan.
Courses will
focus on modern
telecommunications
technologies
such as MPLS,
VoIP, 3G Wireless,
ATM, Frame
Relay and
OSS systems.
As part of
this multi-year
agreement
NTG will provide
instructors
and courseware
and share
in a percentage
of the enrollment
revenue.
The partnership
between NTG
Clarity Networks
and Preston
University
is the result
of an in-depth
viability
study conducted
by NTG Clarity
Networks with
the assistance
of the Canadian
International
Development
Agency's Industrial
Cooperation
Program, a
department
of the Government
of Canada.
