CALGARY, January 22, 2002- NTG Clarity Networks Inc. announced today that Magdy Makhlouf has joined the company as its new Senior Vice President of Sales - Western Canada. Makhlouf has been brought on board in a newly created position that focuses on growing NTG Clarity's revenue in the West. NTG Clarity believes that there is a large western market and demand for network and telecom services, which Makhlouf would be in charge of developing.

Makhlouf has a diverse and extensive background in Engineering, Operations, Sales and Marketing in telecommunication, enterprise and consulting organizations. Prior to joining NTG Clarity, Makhlouf held several senior positions including Executive Director at DMR for Western Region, Vice President Engineering and Operations at Telus Advanced Communication, Director of Network Services and Technical Sales Support at SHL Systemhouse, and President of Rockwave Technology. With a bachelor's degree in Engineering and masters in Computer Science, Makhlouf is a welcome addition to the team.
