NTG Clarity
Networks Inc.
(CDNX: NCI)
is pleased
to announce
it has acquired
the world-wide
licencing
rights to
CoManage's
Integrated
Service Manager
(ISM). Under
this agreement,
CoManage grants
NTG a royalty-bearing
perpetual
licence to
use, enhance,
sub-licence
and market
the product
world wide.
Integrated
Service Manager
(ISM) is a
single application
that provides
Discovery,
Provisioning,
Service Profiling,
Fault Monitoring,
and Performance
Management.
It is the
first application
that dynamically
unifies customer
information,
service information,
and network
information
in a real-time
Network Knowledge
Base. ISM
allows service
providers
and their
customers
to join together
in managing
their services.
ISM provides
the critical
link between
network-facing
functions
and customer-facing
functions.
This means
that customer
care, billing,
inventory,
design and
other packages
can gain real-time
views of the
actual state
of the network
and each individual
service for
each customer.
In fact, ISM
features an
open architecture
designed for
partnering.
By using industry
standard COM,
CORBA and
XML commands,
partners can
easily extract
useful information
about network
availability,
performance,
operational
efficiency
and service
level management
to incorporate
into their
software offerings.
"The
ISM Discovery
and Provisioning
capabilities
complements
our current
telecom product
offering's
(NTS) strength
in the areas
of Order Management,
IP Management,
Configuration
Management
and Asset
Management.
With the integration
of the two
product suites,
NTG will be
able to provide
its customers
and the Telecom
Industry with
a unique,
fully integrated
solution,"
says Ashraf
Zaghloul,
Chief Executive
Officer and
Chairman of
NTG Clarity.
"The
acquisition
of these licencing
rights provides
NTG with a
revenue increase
of $1.5 million
over the next
12 months.
To further
expand the
revenue opportunities,
NTG plans
to enhance
the product
and market
it world wide.
"We
are excited
with the new
business opportunities
that ISM will
produce for
our company,
" says
Essam Zaghloul,
Chief Operating
Officer and
President
of NTG Clarity.
"This
is a product
which will
integrate
a number of
critical network
functions
to create
significant
benefits for
our customers." |
